Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a global market leader in advanced design software for turbomachinery components will be exhibiting at the 13th International Conference on Turbochargers and Turbocharging on 16th-17th May 2018 at the Twickenham Stadium in London. This year ADT will be demonstrating the latest release of TURBOdesign Suite 6.6.0. The software update integrates new enhancements that further streamline the design and optimization process of turbocharger compressor and turbine for multiple operating points.

The conference will showcase the advances in the turbocharging industry, addressing current and novel aspects of turbomachinery systems design and solutions for engine downsizing and improvements in efficiency. The conference will discuss the fundamental ways to meet current emissions and environmental trends to reduce CO2 and fuel consumption that are major market drivers in the transport industry. Focusing on air management solutions and improvements in overall engine reliability, durability and compactness, this conference will examine the new systems developments being implemented.

ADT has a long track record of collaboration with  turbochargers OEMs, successfully addressing complex aerodynamic problems to improve efficiency, reduce mechanical stresses and obtain a more uniform flow field for better stage performances – as well as exploring new turbocharging applications and emerging technologies.

ADT is pleased to release that latest version of TURBOdesign Suite 6.6.0 and will showcase the new features and benefits at this year's conference. Prof. M. Zangeneh, Managing Director of ADT and Professor at the University College of London added: "We are very excited about the new release of TURBOdesign Suite, which enables many features for multi-point/mulit-objective optimization of tubomachinery especially for turbocharger applications. That is why many of the leading turbocharger manufacturers and F1 engine manufacturers are using ADT’s design optimization system to achieve the difficult requirements of  maximizing efficiency and operating range at multiple speeds."

ADT's specialists will be on hand to demonstrate how by using TURBOdesign Suite inverse design methods make the design process simple. See how the advanced tools within TURBOdesign Suite enable engineers to produce high-quality designs, optimise the performance of components and reduce development time.
